Law Enforcement Request Guidelines
Last Updated: December 31, 2025
This guide applies only to government law enforcement agencies and judicial institutions performing their duties in accordance with the law.
I. Introduction
According to the Terms of Service and related disclosures, DeBox is a decentralized product based on blockchain technology that does not custody user assets and does not have the technical capability to control, freeze, or dispose of on-chain assets.
In compliance with laws and regulations and internal compliance review requirements, we will carefully evaluate law enforcement requests that can provide legal authorization certificates and complete legal documents, and provide reasonable assistance within the scope permitted by technology and law.
This Law Enforcement Request Guidelines aims to explain:
• How authorized law enforcement officers can contact DeBox;
• The basic materials and procedures required when initiating a law enforcement assistance request.
We will review and independently evaluate each law enforcement request on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable terms of service, privacy policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
Please note:
• We only respond to requests from verified authorized law enforcement officers;
• If cross-border or international law enforcement cooperation is involved, law enforcement agencies must provide formal judicial assistance or mutual legal assistance documents in accordance with the law;
• Due to the decentralized nature of the product, we cannot guarantee that all law enforcement requests will receive substantial assistance.
II. How to Submit Law Enforcement Requests
We will process law enforcement requests from various jurisdictions in accordance with the law and strictly follow applicable laws and regulations, terms of service, and privacy policies.
If you are an authorized law enforcement officer and need to submit a law enforcement assistance request to DeBox, please contact us through the following official email:

III. Required Information and Materials
To facilitate our verification and processing as soon as possible, we recommend that law enforcement officers prioritize using official government email addresses (including government domains such as gov) to send requests;
If using a personal email, please ensure that the email has received explicit authorization or endorsement from an official government email. Requests meeting the above conditions will be prioritized for review.
Please provide at least the following materials in the law enforcement request email:
• Case filing decision or equivalent legal document;
• Formal written law enforcement request document with official seal (such as investigation assistance letter, information request letter, etc.);
• Valid work identification of at least two law enforcement officers;
• Verifiable official contact information (including but not limited to: official email, publicly searchable office phone, personal mobile phone number of law enforcement officers);
• Basic case information description, on-chain transaction path analysis, or other relevant supporting materials related to the law enforcement assistance needs.
Law enforcement officers should clearly and explicitly state the requested assistance matters and scope in the email, and provide sufficient and specific information so that we can process it within our capabilities in accordance with the law.
If conditions permit, it is recommended to also provide the time period available for telephone verification to expedite the review process.
IV. Review and Processing Procedures
After receiving a law enforcement assistance request, we will conduct compliance review of relevant information, including but not limited to:
• The authenticity, completeness, and legality of law enforcement documents;
• The relevance between the law enforcement request content and the case;
• Verification of law enforcement officer identity and authorization status (may include telephone verification).
During the review process, we may request additional explanations or further supporting materials based on specific circumstances. Your cooperation is appreciated.
If a law enforcement request fails to pass the above review or exceeds our ability to provide assistance, we will refuse to provide corresponding assistance in accordance with the law.
If we discover cases unrelated to the matter, falsified documents, or false law enforcement officer identities, DeBox will refuse assistance and may report to relevant regulatory agencies or take other legal measures in accordance with the law to protect legitimate rights and interests.
V. Emergency Law Enforcement Requests
In case of emergency situations (including but not limited to: risks to human life or significant personal safety, etc.),
Please clearly mark "Emergency Law Enforcement Request" in the email subject when sending the email.
We will prioritize the review and processing of qualified emergency requests within the scope permitted by legal and technical conditions.
